Talking Electronic Pikachu and Squirtle figurines, Tomy 1997

Two lovely electronic figurines released by Tomy in 1997 and they are about 10 centimetres high.. Both Pikachu and Squirtle are the only two figurines in their series, but both operate differently. Pikachu says ''Pikachu'' when you put your fingers on both iron circles on it's bottom. His cheeks also light up when doing this. Because they are both Japanese, Squirtle says ''Kameh Kameh'' and some other phrases. Squirtle has an on/off switch in contrary to Pikachu. The tiny hole in his belly is his lightsensor and when the light intensity changes, he will say his phrase. Sadly, neither of them are very rare and you can easily get one in original packaging for $20 on Ebay.

1999 Tomy Pull Back Toy Pikachu and Charmander

A lovely toy released in 1999 by Tomy. These toys are about 5 centimeters high. They have a pull back system inside them, so whenever you move them backwards, they launch themselves forward. When they move, Charmander moves it's tail up and down while Pikachu moves it from side to side. (Note that my Pikachu is missing it's tail, so it only moves his stump around.) The tail is also his most fragile part, so be careful. I also found out there was a Squirtle released, as shown below.

Also I don't think Squirtle can move it's tail, since Squirtle originally lacks one, but I am not absolutely sure. When it comes to rarity, these toys are quite vintage, but not that rare. You can buy them in original packaging on Ebay for $12. Used they're worth around $5.

Pokémon Talking Plush Togepi and Marill, Tiger 2000

I am very aware of the fact that A LOT of talking plushies have been released by Nintendo. These are most likely one of the first ever released. I own both Marill and Togepi and they are just ADORABLE. Marill sadly doesn't work anymore, but when activated and you would move it around, it would say ''Riiiruuu''. There are no English versions of these toys and they all make their Japanese sound, so if you have a Marill who makes the Marill sound, it is not an official one. Togepi works the same. But the Japanese Togepi makes exactly tthe same sounds as the English one would do, so you can expect sounds like ''Tuki tuki.'' and ''Treeeeeee'' and some combinations of both. I even found a Japanese commercial in which you can hear Togepi talking and also see a glimpse of the Pikachu version of these toys.

Are there any more versions of these toys? I am not completely sure. I have a memory of seeing a Mew version of this, but I do not remember if it was from 2000. When it comes to rarity, there seems to be some kind of difference between each plush. People say that almost every collector has this Marill plush in it's possession, yet I could only find one Togepi on Ebay and nowhere else I could find this exact Togepi plush. The seller on Ebay asked around $45 for Togepi, but when it comes to Pikachu and Marill, you should be able to get one around $20.

Piplup Nohohon, solar powered bobblehead

This little Piplup figurine bobbles his head when sunlight falls on the black surface. It doesn't need that much sunlight, since it cutely bobbles his head all day on my desk. These kind of bobbleheads are better known as Nohohon, which basically means relaxation in Japanese. That is also where this figurine is originally sold. Released in 2007 by Tomy, this isn't what you call a very rare or vintage collectable. I've seen it multiple times on Ebay, which were sold for around $30 dollars. Then you'd would have a brand new one in it's original packaging. There are also two other type of these bobbleheads: Pikachu and Pikachu Christmas.
